Role of Women in Agriculture subject of breakfast discussion
Cathy McGowan, who has been a President of Australian Women in Agriculture, will be the special guest at a breakfast discussing the role of women in agriculture next week.
The event is hosted by Suzie Holt who is running as an Independent candidate for the Federal seat of Groom.
The event, which will be held on Tuesday 15th of March at Gip’s restaurant, will consider how women are influencing the agricultural agenda in our region.
“Agriculture is an important industry for our region and will continue to play an important role in our future prosperity. Women play a key role in this industry, and this is an opportunity for women to come together and discuss the issues they believe are important.” Ms Holt said.
