Why I'm Running

I’m running to represent you because I believe in the power of communities to shape their own futures. I’m running because I know we can do better—and I know that together, we will.

For too long, we've been caught in a cycle of politics that doesn’t reflect our values. We’ve seen decisions made by people who don’t truly understand what it’s like to live here. Decisions that affect our families, our farmers, our businesses—and our children’s future. I’m running to change that. To be your voice in Canberra, not as a career politician, but as someone who understands the value of connection, community, and care.

A Better Future for Our Families

I’ve spent years working as a social worker and community advocate, listening to your concerns and championing your needs. I’ve seen the challenges we face firsthand, and I’ve seen how much we’re capable of when we come together. Whether it’s the rising cost of living, the lack of affordable housing, or the pressures on our farmers, I believe we can do better.

My vision for Groom is simple: a place where people have the opportunities to thrive, where no one is left behind, and where we support each other through every challenge.

It’s Time for Change

I’m not here to make empty promises. I’m here to build a path forward, together. We need leadership that is rooted in integrity, honesty, and a deep commitment to the people it serves. I believe in policies that are grounded in the realities of life here. That means supporting our farmers with sustainable practices, creating affordable housing for all, and ensuring our young people have the opportunities they deserve—right here in Groom.

Together, we will...

  • Support our farmers by backing sustainable agricultural practices and ensuring our agricultural sector thrives in the face of global change.

  • Invest in healthcare that meets the needs of our community—no more waiting for a health system that can’t keep up.

  • Create opportunities for young people to study, live, and work in Groom, so they don’t have to leave to find a future elsewhere.

I’m here to listen, to act, and to lead with care. Our community deserves a voice that truly represents the values and aspirations we share. Together, we can build a Groom that is strong, fair, and full of opportunity for all.

If you’re ready to be part of this movement, if you’re ready to build something better for our children, for our parents, and for everyone who calls Groom home—then I’d be honoured to have your support.
